Using a choice of industry-standard 128-bit or 256-bit AES encryption, DeviceShield can transform any storage media into a secure form of transporting data. DeviceShield-encrypted devices cannot be accessed by PCs outside the school - preventing files from being accessed on non-authorised systems or networks.
Does DeviceShield work with Microsoft SQL Server Express?
Yes - You can either use your own full blown Microsoft SQL Server or use Microsoft's free version "SQL Server 2005 Express Edition".
Can I restrict access to authorised USB keys only?
Yes - You can restrict USB Key use to a particular make and model of USB key.
