Added functionality:

Web Tracking is a new module that records all web activity performed on client workstations. Unlike proxy based systems that tend to log too much information, Web Tracking uses an intelligent filter to log appropriate URL history which can then be analysed later using the new Ranger Report Manager module.
Ranger Report Manager is a new batch reporting engine which is included in this release along with the Web Tracking report pack. The Web Tracking report pack includes customisable summary and detailed report templates that generate HTML reports based on web activity.

Bug fixes:

Fixed a bug in the licence database which caused event 63 errors to be logged in the application event log.

LAN Ranger:

• Fixed a memory leak.
• Fixed a bug with LAN Ranger to prevent queued messages from being sent to disconnected clients.
• Improved LAN Ranger's client message delivery system.
• Prevented the main logo from flickering when the form is resized.
• Modified a number of form controls to make user input persistent.
• Fixed a bug that would display Status Log's Licence server events in UTC rather than in local time.
• Fixed a bug that sometimes caused LAN Ranger to close down on startup without warning.
• Fixed a bug that caused an access violation if LAN Ranger did not start in a clean state.
• Reduced flicker in all LAN Ranger's main dialog's lists and trees.
• Changed the functionality of the 'Clear' button in the LAN Ranger status log. The button now saves the current log to disk before clearing the active list. The confirmation dialog has been removed.

Ranger Administrator:

• Added user input validation on path limitations to prevent duplicate entries from being set.
• Prevented the main logo from flickering when the form is resized.
• Custom shell and max logons settings are now successfully copied between multiple groups when using the 'paste special command'.

Ranger client installation:

• The Ranger client install routine now waits until all Ranger services have fully started before logging off the RangerInstall user. This prevents the situation where users would try to logon before the Ranger services had started causing their logon to fail.

Package Builder:

• Fixed the "Invalid argument to date encode" error message which is sometimes displayed during a package build.

Ranger Toolbar:

• Modified the way applications are executed from the Ranger Toolbar to support Windows Server 2003 SR1.

Configuration Manager:

• Added Web Tracking files to the list of files backed up.
• Significantly enhanced the quantity and quality of data captured when creating a config dump for submission to Ranger's technical support (Option 3).
• Added a place holder for customers to record the support issue number (provided by Technical Support) when filling in the config dump's problem description field.
