If you are activating Ranger Account Manager during the installation process, then you will already be at Fig 22 and you can safely carry on from that point.

If you declined to activate Ranger Account Manager during the installation process then the following steps will need to be performed on the server which you installed Ranger Account Manager to. From the 'Start' menu, click on 'Programs' then click on 'Ranger Account Manager' then click on 'Activate Ranger Account Manager'.

The Product Activation Wizard will then display an informational message, and will prompt you to choose between two options.

For the purposes of this section, please click on the 'No, I do not have an Internet connection' button.

Ranger Account Manager will proceed to search for all Ranger products installed on your server. Ensure that you select the Ranger Account Manager product and deselect any others that are found. Click on the 'Next' button to continue.

Enter in the Activation Key which you received when you purchased Ranger Account Manager. If you installed Ranger Account Manager as part of your Upgrade Protection Agreement with Sentinel Products Ltd. then you should have received an email with instructions on how to retrieve your Activation Key. Click the 'Activate' button to continue.

Please read the instructions contained in this dialog. As explained in Fig 25, you will need to save the Activation File and email it to activate@rangersuite.com. A Licence File will be returned to the email address you used to send the Activation File from. Once you have received the Licence File, please click on the 'Import Licence File' button and browse to it. Select the file and click 'Open' and the licence information will be displayed in the next dialog.

If the information displayed is incorrect then please click on the back button to correct any details. If the information displayed is correct, please click on the 'Next' button to continue.

The final dialog will be displayed once you have completed the activation process. Click on the 'Finish' button to close the Product Activation Wizard.
