The following steps outline the installation process of Ranger Account Manager Client.

The Ranger Account Manager Client is distributed as an MSI file, and it will have a name similar to the following: RAM_Client_2_0_0_36.msi

This file can usually be found on the CD you received when you purchased Ranger Account Manager, or you may have downloaded this file from our website. Alternatively, if you have Ranger for Networks installed in your network, then you will also be able to find it in the SETUP folder under the folder where you installed Ranger for Networks to. This is usually C:\PROGRAM FILES\RANGER\SETUP.

Once you have located this file, double-click it to run it.

The initial dialog will be displayed. Please click on the 'Next' button to begin the installation process.

This dialog displays information regarding the installation. Click 'Next' to continue. This will display the licence dialog.

Read the agreement and if you agree to its terms and conditions, select the 'I Agree' option. Click 'Next' to continue. Continuing with the install will indicate that you accept the terms and conditions of the licence agreement.

The installation options dialog is displayed.

Change the installation location if applicable and click 'Next' to continue.

Click 'Next' to continue and Ranger Account Manager will be installed.

This dialog performs the installation of the Ranger Account Manager Client. Should you wish to interrupt the installation process, please click the 'Cancel' button. Once the installation has finished, the completion dialog will be displayed.

The Ranger Account Manager Client has been successfully installed. Please click on the 'Close' button to finish the installation. When you start The Ranger Account Manager Client for the first time, it will attempt to connect to your Ranger Account Manager server. Should it be unable to automatically find the server, it will prompt you to enter in the details of the server and domain you wish to connect to.
