Why do I receive an rgrbatch error when installing Ranger Outpost



Symptoms

An rgrbatch error occurs when installing Ranger Outpost v 3 to a Windows 2008 server



Cause

The installation attempts to make changes to the Windows 2008 firewall but can only do so if the firewall is turned on.



Resolution

Turn the Windows 2008 firewall on and complete the installation.
