Question

How do we set the theme to be the XP Theme (blue/green start menu) instead of the classic (grey start menu) theme.

Resolution

Unfortunately there is no way of setting this within Ranger for Networks / Primary, however we have found the below article by Microsoft that demonstrates how to do so across the network.

Please see the following article, which it basically involves creating a base profile for all users to obtain at 1st login.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/168475/en-us?FR=1&PA=1&SD=HSCH

So the idea is to login to the local machine as local administrator – set the profile as you wish it to be – then go to  Control Panel – System – Advanced – Profiles - copy it to a network share assigning the permissions for everyone, copy it to the Net Logon directory in a folder named Default User.
