Device Shield on Thin client

Does DeviceShield work on thin clients

DeviceShield will not work on Thin Clients unless the Client Machine has it's own OS with a Windows/System32 folder and it's own local services. (The DS_Client runs as a service on the local pc)
 

Most Thin Client environments that I have seen tie all the clients to a central server and the server provides all the services and DeviceShield will not apply multiple logged on user rules from a single deployment.
