Question
My Guardian box is showing that it is hanging on checking files - in particular its web logs?
Resolution
Download and extract the following files to a client machine WebLogFix.zip
You will need to copy the two files securusload.exe and securusload.csf located in the folder you create called Securus on your C: Drive.
- Turn the Securus Server off
- Hold down the black button/enter key and turn the server on using the power button
- Continue holding the black button/enter key until it has checked 2/3 files. Wait for it to finish checking all files and display IP ADDRESS, LOADER MODE or LAN 100
- Click the windows start button at the bottom left of your screen and click the run command.
- Type in the run command window "c:\securus\securusload.exe 192.168.1.1" correcting the IP to the IP of your Securus server and the pathname to the pathname you extracted to. Click ok.
- On the Securusload window that loads up click "Units" then "Find". Choose the IP address of your server from the list and click ok.
- Click "Files", "Data Files" then "Put". Navigate to the path that you extracted the files to and highlight weblog3.hdb and click open. Then repeat but highlight weblog3.res
- Once it has been confirmed give the server about 10 seconds to finish writing the files to disk and reboot the server using the LCD panel.
