How do I install Ranger Print Monitor Administration on a workstation

Instructions

Simply create a short cut on the workstation that points to gpcharge.exe with the data= parameter. For example:


"\\MyServer\Ranger Print Manager\gpcharge.exe" data=\\MyServer\Ranger Print Manager\data

 


Check that the user in question has file permissions to read and write to the data folder.

 

This folder is probably also shared, so also check the share permissions allow read and write access for this user.

 

Win2003 defaults it share permissions to read only so you'll need to alter these permissions appropriately.
