Resolution
1st you would need to obtain a machine that does not have the Ranger for Networks or Ranger Primary client on the machine. If it does then you'd need to run Ranger Remove on that machine to uninstall the client software, as well as deleting the registry keys.
Once you've confirmed the above, disconnnect the machine from the domain. it is important that you do so otherwise their will be problems.
Login as local administrator and run through the configuration, and use Ranger Account Manager to create the local accounts. These local accounts must be exactly the same as your domain accounts e.g. username, password, mapped drive lettering etc.
You will need to store the user home folders inside the Ranger/userhome folder on the local machine, and assign the domain user name full control of that local home folder as this is required for synchronisation to take place.
When you have created your user accounts, connect the machine back to the domain, and select Configure for Networks via the start menu and run through the configuration.
You would now need to log the user onto the network make some changes, log them off, and back on locally and it should synchronised the files over.
