How do I backup the naming scheme settings and templates within Ranger Account Manager v2?



Cause

You have created templates and a naming scheme within Ranger Account Manager v2.0 and now want to upgrade to v2.1 without losing them.



Resolution

Instructions

Manually backup the Ranger Account Manager folder normally located in c:\program files\sentinel products.

After upgrading and registering the product, restore the XML files to the root of the Ranger Account Manager.

Also restore the two files located in the contextsglobal folder.



Testing

Start RAM 2.1 and check your templates are present.
