Ranger Outpost Configuration

Question

When a user clicks on a staff folder they get error 'path not found'

Symptoms

'While refreshing children of container: outpoststaff2 - The system cannot find the path specified.'

The user attempts to access one of the staff OutpostBox folders but the error is displayed.

Cause

Ranger Outpost cannot find the OutpostBox folder in the staff users home area.

Resolution

Check the staff users home area for an OutpostBox folder. If one does not exist then use Server setup and admin tool to create one.

Instructions

Run the Server setup and admin tool, use the modify staff folders option and specify in the location field the path to the staff user home folders. From the results select the appropriate staff users home folder.

Complete the wizard and then check the staff users home folder again to verify the OutpostBox folder has been created.

Testing

Logon a new Ranger Outpost session and browse to the staff > user folder and try to submit a file.
