I cannot enter my licence key correctly.

Cause
If your licence key is not being accepted during software installation then follow the guidelines below to ensure you are entering the licence key details correctly.
If the licence key is still not being accepted, then use the evaluation key and change it later by running the licence key program:
c:\program files\Ranger Remote Control\PciLic.exe
To install Ranger Remote Control using an evaluation licence key during the setup wizard, enter "Eval" in the licensee field and clear all the other fields.
Resolution
Licence key Guidelines:
If the licence key validation says "Invalid Authorisation Key" then it means data in any of the
fields is incorrect, not just the authorisation key.
It is possible your licence key may not be correct for the version of Ranger Remote Control you have on your system. This generally occurs when a site upgrades the number of workstation licences without upgrading the RRC version. Generally all licences issued are for the current RRC version unless specifically requested otherwise.
To confirm the version of RRC you have installed, run the RRC "Tutor" program. (c:/program files/Ranger Remote Control/PCINSSUI.EXE) and look at the Help About screen.
This will show the version number.
If you have an old version of Ranger Remote Control and suspect your key version does not match please contact us.
