IE causing slow logins

Question

Why do machines with IE 7+ and Ranger for Networks / Primary, are slow to login?

Cause

We are not 100 sure, though from past experiences it may be a conflict with Microsoft Group Policies, and branding issues with IE.

Resolution

Where previously we've asked customers to create a new OU in AD, with no GPO's set or inherited, assign a new group and new users to the same OU. Sycnchronise the group to Ranger administrator give it some basic settings and log the user in, and login performance has improved.
